Thus another period of moderate to heavy snow is likely across eastern Oklahoma and northwest Arkansas later tonight and Sunday morning. The snow will diminish from the west during Sunday afternoon.
* Additional snowfall amounts of 4 to 6 inches can be expected with the heaviest snow accumulations of 8 to 10 inches expected along Interstate 44 in northeast Oklahoma. Even in southeast Oklahoma... snowfall amounts of around 4 inches are possible during the early morning hours Sunday.
Impacts... * travel has already become very hazardous across much of northeast Oklahoma... and conditions are expected to deteriorate elsewhere overnight. Spotty power outages are likely due to the accumulation of heavy wet snow on power lines combined with gusty winds.
