Saturday...

A Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect until 1 am PST
Saturday.

* Timing: snow will fall through late tonight.

* Snow accumulations: additional accumulation of 1 to 3 inches
with storm total accumulation of 2 to 7 inches expected across
the area... with the highest amounts above 4500 feet.

* Snow levels: at the valley floors.

* Impacts: expected impacts will primarily be on area roadways
above 4500 feet... but will lower during the course of time to
valley floors. Areas affected will be Chemult... Bly Mountain...
   Lava Beds... and the Warner Mountains. Very gusty winds will
occur through early afternoon... especially in Modoc County.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Winter Weather Advisory for snow means that periods of snow
will cause primarily travel difficulties. Be prepared for snow
covered roads and limited visibilities... and use caution while
driving.
