Only a few hundredths of an inch expected across the area through 5 PM.

... Coastal Flood Warning remains in effect until 11 PM EDT this
evening...

A coastal Flood Warning remains in effect until 11 PM EDT this
evening.

Water levels along the upper tidal Potomac River continue to run
3 to 4 feet above normal... except near Georgetown where departures
were in excess of 5 feet above normal. Moderate tidal flooding is
expected to continue through high tide this evening.

The crest of fresh water flooding is coming down the Potomac
River. Since this crest will between the morning and evening high
tides... a prolonged period of high water is expected. Look for
water levels near Georgetown to continue to be between 10 ft and
11 ft through this evening.

For Washington DC... a water level of 10 feet at Wisconsin Avenue
will cause water to approach k street in Georgetown near
Washington Harbour. At 10.5 feet... water approaches Independence
Avenue at 17th street and the George Washington Memorial Parkway
at the Railroad bridge north of Reagan National Airport. At a
water level of 12 feet... the parking lot at the foot of Wisconsin
Avenue floods.

For Alexandria... tidal flooding will continue to impact the
Waterfront... including the 100 block of King Street... Union street
below Cameron street... and Prince street..
