Flood Warning
Issued by the National Weather Service at 9:26 PM EDT on March 14, 2010
The Flood Warning continues for
the Ogeechee river near Eden.
* At 8 PM Sunday the stage was 9.9 feet.
* Flood stage is 9.0 feet.
* Minor flooding is occurring.
* Forecast... the river will continue rising to near 10.5 feet by
Thursday morning. Additional rises may be possible thereafter.
* At 12.0 feet... the bottom floor of several homes at Morgans bridge
begin to flood. The boat ramp and campground along dashers Landing
Road near Eden are impacted.
