Issued by the National Weather Service at 4:43 PM EDT on March 19, 2010
The Flood Warning continues for
the Ocmulgee River near Abbeville
* until further notice.
* At 3 PM Friday the stage was 13.1 feet... and slowly falling.
* Minor flooding will continue.
* Flood stage is 12.0 feet.
* At 13.0 feet... minor flooding of lowlands adjacent to the river
continue to expand into the flood plain. Flooding of the nearby
park and parking lot at the boat ramp also expands.
