Issued by the National Weather Service at 9:11 PM EDT on March 19, 2010
... Flood Warning extended until late Monday night... the Flood Warning
continues for
the Ocmulgee River near Abbeville
* until late Monday night.
* At 8 PM Friday the stage was 13.0 feet... and slowly falling.
* Minor flooding will continue.
* Flood stage is 12.0 feet.
* The river will continue to fall to below flood stage by Monday
evening.
* At 13.0 feet... minor flooding of lowlands adjacent to the river
continue to expand into the flood plain. Flooding of the nearby
park and parking lot at the boat ramp also expands.
