Issued by the National Weather Service at 5:40 am CDT on March 20, 2010
The Flood Warning continues for
the Illinois River at La Salle.
* At 430 am Saturday the stage was 20.4 feet and slowly falling.
* Flood stage is 20.0 feet.
* Minor flooding is occurring.
* Forecast... the river will continue to slowly fall... and
is expected to go below flood stage by Sunday night.
* Impact... at 20.0 feet... agricultural areas in
La Salle... Spring Valley... and Peru lowlands are flooded.
