A Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect from 1 am Saturday to midnight CDT Saturday night.
* Rain or a mix of rain and snow will spread over the area late this evening and early Saturday morning. By sunrise... the precipitation will change to all snow. The snow is expected to continue through the afternoon and taper off during the evening.
* Snowfall amounts of 2 to 4 inches with locally higher amounts are expected by Saturday evening.
* Most of the accumulation is expected on grassy surfaces due to the warm ground temperatures. However... heavier bursts of snow will accumulate on Road surfaces... especially bridges and overpasses... causing slippery driving conditions.
Precautionary/preparedness actions...
A Winter Weather Advisory for snow means that periods of snow will cause travel difficulties. Be prepared for slick... snow covered roads and limited visibilities... and be careful while driving.

The Flood Warning continues for the Mississippi River at Muscatine. * Until Tuesday evening. * At 9:00 PM Friday the stage was 14.9 feet... and rising. * Flood stage is 16 feet. * No flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast. * Forecast... rise above flood stage Monday morning... and continue rising to 16.1 feet Monday. Fall below flood stage Tuesday evening. * Impact... at 16 feet... water affects the lower portion of the Riverside Park parking lot.
