Special Weather Statement
Issued by the National Weather Service at 6:08 am EST on March 11, 2010

... Fog may become locally dense for the morning commute...

Areas of fog over the eastern Carolinas may become locally dense
in spots this morning. Visibilities range from 1 to 3 miles in
most locations... however a few locales have reported visibilities
as low as a quarter mile this morning. Fog will tend to dissipate
after 8 o'clock this morning as temperatures rise.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

If patchy dense fog is encountered while traveling... slow down and
increase your following distance to allow time for sudden stops.
