... Line of showers and thunderstorms with heavy rain will move
northeast through the region through 100 am...

A line of showers and thunderstorms with heavy rain will move
northeast at 25 mph across Forsyth... Guilford... Randolph...
Moore... Richmond... Scotland... and Cumberland counties through
1200 am. The heaviest rain will affect the Winston-Salem... High
Point... Asheboro... Carthage... Laurinburg... and Fayetteville
areas through 1200 am. In addition... occasional cloud to ground
lightning and brief gusty winds to 35 mph will occur.

The line is expected to move into the eastern Piedmont between
1130 PM and 1200 am. This will include the Triangle...
Lillington... and Roxboro.

Motorists should be alert for possible flooding as the line moves
through.
