Areal Flood Warning
Issued by the National Weather Service at 5:49 am EDT on March 15, 2010


... The Flood Warning remains in effect until 800 PM EDT Monday for
Atlantic... Cumberland and southeastern Salem counties...

At 545 am EDT, minor flooding continued along the Maurice River
and moderate flooding was occurring along the great Egg Harbor
river. Water levels were rising slowly at both Norma on the Maurice
River and Folsom on the great Egg Harbor river. Both locations
should continue to experience minor to moderate flooding into
Tuesday.

A Flood Warning means that flooding is imminent or has been reported.

... Coastal Flood Advisory now in effect until noon EDT Tuesday...

The coastal Flood Advisory is now in effect until noon EDT
Tuesday.

High tides will occur between 8:00 am and 10:00 am this morning
on the oceanfront and between 10:00 am and noon on Delaware Bay and
the back bays. The next high tides will occur between 8:00 PM and
10:00 PM tonight on the oceanfront and between about 10:00 PM and
midnight on Delaware Bay and the back bays. The Tuesday morning
high tide occurs between about 8:00 am and 10:00 am. Minor tidal
flooding can be expected around the times of high tide through
Tuesday morning with the continued high water levels.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A coastal Flood Advisory indicates that onshore winds and tides
will combine to generate flooding of low areas along the shore.
