Numerous showers will continue to develop and move north across the mid Atlantic region early this morning. The heaviest activity will continue to be east of the Blue Ridge...from Charlottesville to the I-66 corridor. Much of the Washington and Baltimore areas will continue to see light to moderate rain showers spreading across the area...with slow movement. Areas of the southern Shenandoah Valley will continue to dry out on the backside of the exiting low pressure area...though a few isolated showers will continue to develop and move through the region this morning. Most of the area will receive a tenth to a quarter of an inch through 7 am...with locally higher amounts.
