... Increased fire danger Thursday afternoon...

Relative humidity values are expected to drop to between 25 and 35 percent
across eastern Virginia and the lower Maryland Eastern Shore on Thursday.
The dry conditions will combine with northwest winds around 15 mph... with
gusts to 25 mph... resulting in an increased fire danger threat for
the region.

Residents are urged to exercise caution handling any potential
ignition source... including machinery... cigarettes... and matches.
Be sure to properly discard all smoking materials. Any dry grasses
and tree litter that ignite will have the potential to spread
quickly.
